The first national Hamilton Fish School Violence Prevention Conference offers unique opportunities for researchers and practitioners in a variety of disciplines to come together and present current efforts in the areas of school-based violence prevention. This Call for Presentations solicits your involvement and contribution to this expanding field.

Two presentation formats exist. They are:

Lectures and workshops – 90 minute sessions, with about 70 minutes for presentation, and 20 minutes allotted for question and answers. Lectures tend to be didactic, and workshops more interactive. A variety of media is encouraged for engaging presentations.

Special interest groups – 90 minute sessions, informally led by a moderator and centered on a particular topic of interest. Participants in SIGs may share lessons learned, develop deeper understandings of shared experiences, problem-solve together, and network with peers.
